Pink Citrus Coffee Tonic (with a cotton candy twist)

24g Bermudez coffee (ground for V60)

200g filtered water at 94°C

150g ice cubes

100ml good tonic water (chilled)

Orange or pomelo peel for garnish (optional but very extra)How to:

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Pop your paper filter in the V60, rinse it with hot water (don’t skip this!) to get

rid of the papery taste. Dump the rinse water.

Add 150g of ice to your coffee server. Yep we’re making this cool from the

start.

Place your V60 on top of the server, add 24g of Bermudez, and give it a little

shake to level the bed.

Start your pour with a 40g bloom, wait 30 seconds, then continue slowly until

you reach 200g total of hot water.

Let it drip through completely. The melted ice will flash-chill the coffee and

mellow the acidity just right.

Grab a glass, fill it with ice, and pour in 100ml of tonic water.

Top it with your citrusy Bermudez brew — gently, so the bubbles stay.

Garnish with a twist of pomelo or orange peel if you’re feeling fancy.

Stir (or don’t), sip, and enjoy that fizzy, floral, fruity refreshment.

Tastes like summer vacation in a glass.
