Grown at 2,200 metres above sea level in the highlands of Gedeb, Lalesa is a

naturally processed coffee that reflects the terroir of its region.

This lot consists of local heirloom varieties, cultivated by smallholder farmers who

handpick only the ripest cherries. After harvest, the cherries are sun-dried on raised

beds with controlled airflow and frequent turning to ensure even fermentation and

optimal sugar retention.

The mineral-rich red clay soil and well-balanced rainfall support the development of

clean sweetness and a well-structured acidity. In the cup, expect a fruit-forward and

precise profile with notes of apricot, salted caramel, and grapefruit.
